Muster Rolls and Roster

Six of the sons of Johann Adam Hamacher have documented Revolutionary War service records. Adam Hamaker Esq., Christopher Hamaker, David Hamaker, Henry Hamaker, Philip Hamaker and Samuel Hamaker all served in the local Lancaster County, Pennsylvania militia and appear on various muster rolls and rosters which can be viewed below

Sons of the American Revolution 

The Sons of the American Revolution was organized on April 30, l889 -- the l00th anniversary of the inauguration of George Washington as our nation's first President  The SAR is a "lineage" society, which means you must have an ancestor who supported the cause of American Independence during the years 1774-1783 to become a member.

Copies of the actual SAR membership applications, which have been abstracted below, may be obtained from the 

National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, 1000 South Fourth Street, Louisville KY 40203. The cost for each application copy is $5.00.  Please include the SAR National number, which is listed below,  with your request.
